Hi! I’m Ashley bloomberg, M.S., LMFT
I’m a fully licensed marriage and family therapist completing my PhD in Couple, Marriage, and Family Therapy at Texas Tech University. I am currently licensed in both Texas and Nevada. I originally opened my LLC in Las Vegas, and worked with clients in the battle born state for several years. Although I’m a California native, I received my Bachelor of Science at the University of Nevada, Reno, in Human Development & Family Studies in 2019 and my Master of Science in Couple & Family Therapy from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 2021.
When I’m not doing my thing in therapy, you can find me outdoors hiking and camping with my dog, kayaking the Colorado, catching up on whatever reality T.V. series I’m into, and scrolling TikTok for some laughs and new recipe ideas.
As a therapist, I believe in pushing you to see the results you want while also making sure you feel comfortable to walk in my office, kick off your shoes, and get vulnerable.
I have experience creating effective treatment plans for clients of all ages with personality disorders, cultural trauma, OCD, chronic illness, infidelity, depression, anxiety, C-PTSD, AuDHD/ neurodiversity, uncomplicated PTSD, insecure attachment styles, specific phobias, binge behaviors (drinking, eating, spending), children with adjustment disorder and separation anxiety, sexual trauma, body dysmorphia, grief, victims of narcissistic abuse, and body focused repetitive behaviors (BFRB). I am a safe place for members of minority communities, LGBTQIA+, and my office is easily ADA accessible. I also received additional training - including community ride alongs with metro and the fire department to better treat first responders.
My favorite type of client to work with would be those who have experienced a wide variety of trauma in their lifetime, have an insecure attachment style (anxious, avoidant, disorganized), and need a safe place to heal and break the cycle of generational trauma.
I know that therapy is hard, and there will be hard sessions. My biggest hope for you is that you leave the room knowing with confidence, “we’re working on it, I’m gonna be okay.”
